School of Humanities Degree and Certificate Programs
The American Sign Language (ASL) certificate at San Juan College will provide you with training in basic American Sign Language as well as an understanding the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing cultures. With a broad understanding of this visual language, you will be ready to immerse yourself within the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities and cultures.
The CLEAR Program is designed for students who have intellectual disabilities, but who, with occupational training, are able to obtain gainful employment in competitive, high-demand occupations.

The study of Modern Languages provides a comprehensive understanding of a written and spoken language. San Juan College offers courses in Spanish, German, Navajo, French, and Russian as well as a sign language certificate.
