San Juan College drafting and design program will provide you with a firm technical foundation in a variety of drafting disciplines. The curriculum covers how to create working drawings and computer simulations for a variety of applications, and our graduates are well prepared to obtain an entry-level position and succeed in the drafting workplace.
We offer two AAS degree options:
Civil Drafting and Design Technology
Prepare detailed drawings of architectural and structural features of buildings or drawings and topographical relief maps used in civil engineering projects such as highways, bridges, and public works as well as utilize knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
Mechanical Drafting and Design Engineering Technology
Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.
